Overview

Experienced Avid Media Composer or Symphony editors gain greater productivity by mastering the system's sophisticated editing features and tools. Students learn things like workspace management and project organization, along with advanced toolsets including Multi Camera, ScriptSync, and Marquee. In addition the course gives students a primer on audio mix theory and covers some fundamental Media Composer audio sweetening tools and techniques. Sessions include instructor-led demonstration and hands-on practice.

• Completion of MC 101 Professional Editing with Avid Media Composer or equivalent experience of 12 months of full-time editing on the system
• A background as an editor, assistant editor, director or producer is strongly recommended
